SRM Models with Straight Shaft
i. Align the locking hole in the upper plate with notch in border of bearing housing and insert the locking tool.
two. Remove the quondam caput (or shaft commodities) by turning it clockwise until it comes off.
three. Install the new caput keep the locking tool in identify and screw on the new head past turning it counter-clockwise until the head is tight confronting the fixing plate.
4. Remove the locking tool.

GT MODELS with Curved Shaft (Also applies to curved shaft models SRM-2000/ SRM-210AE and SRM-210E )
1.Align the locking hole in the upper plate with notch in border of begetting housing and insert the locking tool (located just above the cutting head).
2. Remove the cutting caput by turning information technology counter-clockwise.
3.Install the new head keeping the locking tool in place and spiral on the new head onto the shaft past turning it clockwise until it is tightly in place and against the fixing plate.
4. Remove the locking tool.
GT MODELS With Standard Rapid Loader Trimmer Head
1.Align the locking hole in the upper plate with notch in border of bearing housing and insert the locking tool (located just above the cut caput).
2. Remove the cutting head by turning the nut counter-clockwise while using a 14.5mm (9/16) wrench.
iii.Install the new head keeping the locking tool in place and screw on the new head onto the shaft by turning it clockwise until information technology is tightly in identify and confronting the fixing plate.
4. Remove the locking tool.
